    Hi Jorge,

When you turn on the "Story Section" in ground plan you will see the slice from where you have set the height of the 1-7-4 "Section Height" in wall design. Be sure this is set at the correct height to slice through the objects you wish to view in ground plan.

    Hi Planer,

Thanks again for all your support and input on the forum! We all appreciate it very much.

Your original card has quite a story behind it. Wil had purchased a very special card for you in Canada and brought it to Germany with him. We all signed it over dinner. During this time I looked across the table to see your special card was in flames :exclamation_mark: It had somehow tipped onto the candle and was creating quite the smoke show in the middle of the restaurant. Simon quickly came to the rescue and managed to distinguish the flames. I got the feeling that our server was not overly impressed with us while opening the window to ventilate the smoke. We were still planning to give you this, now very original card as the signatures were still readable. The sad part of this whole story was the card somehow mysteriously vanished. Shortly after dinner we were in our room and could not find the card. Wil went back to check the restaurant but it was no where to be found. I think our server may have disposed of it in retaliation of our previous event. :smiling_face_with_horns:

Well that is the story of your original Canadian card. I am glad to see you still enjoyed the German version.

    Thanks again,

    Hi Hans,

Open up the single beam list on the beam that is missing the process. High light the missing process and use the arrow up button to move the process to the top of the list. Press OK. Check to see if the process is now showing.

    Regards,

In D-CAM use the command 3-1-1 on the beam with the holes. The drillings should show in the single beam process list. If there is a mortis or tenon with a dollar sign ($) in the list use the "explode" button and now you should see the drilling processes. Use the "delete" button to delete unwanted processes.

If the drillings were originally created with the "Intersecting Volumes" command 2-7-1 you will need to delete the holes with "Tools-Control-Machine Only" 3-1-8.

I hope this works for you.

    Hi Rob,

The green printer icon is only found in special North American stealth beta version 999.99. (o)

Just kidding. :grinning_squinting_face: The program is called Hard Copy. You can find it here http://www.info.hardcopy.de/ It is a simple yet useful program for printing screen shots. There are a few ways to set it up. It appears in all windows and you can print the whole screen or just the window.

    Enjoy,

    Hi Thorvald,

There is always more then one way to create a process but here is how I would make these cuts.

The birds mouth cuts can easily be done in D-CAM 3-7-1 Birds Mouth. Leave the first selection to "Choice" and use the edge of the I-beam to create the birds mouth.

The vertical and horizontal cuts on the end of the rafter can also be done in D-CAM using the cut functions 3-5-2 and 3-5-3.

I always prefer to work in the other modules as much as possible. In roof design you can make the same horizontal and vertical cuts with the digit code 6-3-1 Cut Off. To create the vertical cut use the options under "In Plan View". The horizontal cut can be done with the options under "In Side View 1st Beam". Sometimes it takes practice to understand all the different options in these functions but once you get the hang of it you can really start to take advantage of the power that the program has to offer.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Hans,

The settings for changing the beam list to feet and inch are found in the "General Setting" button at the bottom of the wall drawing output.

In version 6.01 you cannot output the beam list in feet and inch, only timber list can be output in feet and inch. 6.02 works nicely and will hopefully be released soon!

    Hi Thorvald,

Once you save the text style to the dbase you will find the new text style in a new drawing. You do not need to load the dbase.

Only for exsisting drawings and templates you have to load the dbase.

    Hi Thorvald,

Once you have created your text style under Text Settings 3-1 all you need to do is select the "save dbase" button. You will now find your new text style in all new drawings. If you want to use your new text style in exsisting templates and drawings you must select "load dbase" for each drawing.

    Hi Hans,

To show you picture in the post it must have a maximum size of 640x480.

For the panel list check to see where your security level is set to in Micrsoft Word under Tools/Marco/Security My setting has to be on low.

Also try to select a different template or no template when you output the panel list to MS Word.
