Thanks for the wake up call; I took another look I found out that I was extruding my metal shape in the Y direction when I should have been extruding the width.

I did a drilling which turned out fine.I would like to think I'm doing it the same as before but now I am receiving a message wrong process. :roll:

Thanks ! Roger / Der_Planer , I got it.

On my laptop, when I select a point and perpendicular drilling, I can see the drilling process but no hole appears. On my other machine doing the same I get the hole? Does anyone have any idea why this may be?

Is there a print out or file of standard layers automatically created in Dietrich's this would help to set up a template.

I have two posts drawn in D-wall I want to copy the post in D-cam and do a copy-distribute in the Y direction. I then receive an error! Exception invalid float operation. :roll:

I want to cut a slot in the end of my beam to accept a 3/8" x 6" flat. I'm wondering what command / tools to use to accomplish this.

I took two steel profiles and deleted the processes in order to unite them then decided I wanted to make the united shape longer by cutting it. Now I noticed the command will not " cut it longer " :roll: Any reason to why I'm unable to cut it longer?

Thanks Joachim! You are absolutely correct, I happen to have two very similar roof surface properties.

I have a roof profile that contains a "collar beam" when I place the collar beams into my roof, my roof build up / panel changes at the peak and eave. I'm attaching the way the panel was before inserting the collar beams and the goofed up panel after the collar beams were inserted. Any quick fix to the roof build up / panel? If I delete the panel.... won't I have to start from the very beginning and enter all rafters and collar beams?

I want to be able to add an attachment to my message body but I'm unable to do so :?

I'm in a position where I created a roof profile a simple gable roof that will contain trusses. I currently have the (rafters) top chord of the truss in place along with wall plates. My plan now is to finish up adding the truss members and change one end to a "Dutch Hip" then proceed with adding the addtional roof members. Is this possible can anyone pass along a tip or two on how to proceed ?

D-Profile where does this program reside in Dietrich's? In the PDF tutorial It say's to go to... 1-1-1 to create a new roof profile.?.. if I go to 1-1-1 it is create a new position.

In addition to the wish list. It would be nice to have bolts / connectors in U.S. customary (inches) along with the symbols in the folder "PlanBiB" being in U.S. Customary ( feet / inches ).
