Hi Kayaker, are you trying to shorten a screw that you placed from the connection functions 3-08-xx or a library object?

Library object would need to have a resize point assigned.

In the screw is from the connection function, it may be easiest and quickest to delete the process and redo it.

give me more detail on what you are trying to achieve and I can possibly be more precise in my solution.

When inserting Electrical Services Logic Block, I get this message. Maybe I am missing a text or dimension style.

Is there a simple way to export the drawing navigation perhaps through variables. The process would need to be somewhat automated to prevent mistakes. I have been taking screen shot of the drawing navigation but it is not sharp when printed on ARCH D size paper.See attached. Thank you.

Hi Guys, Is there one particular pdf printer which you recomend. I am installing dietichès on new machine. I have Bluebeam on my old machine, but i still required Acrobat to view and open pdf files from project manager.

I am modeling the topography of the site using ceilings. This is what appears to be causing my problem. I deleted the ceilings and the logic blocks are inserted at the correct elevation.

Any suggestion on how to either model my topography or how to insert logic blocks at desired elevation?

Question 1 What does the room box in function 1-7-1 do? How does one make it function as intended? I see in Wall Properties interior & exterior room limits but don't understand how to use them?

Curious about this feature. Seems it could be helpful on the architectural side.

Is there something comparable in the program that I can insert for visual representation and material list.

Hi all, My collegues work in AutoCAD/HSB 2012. I'm having difficulties importing .sat files of their models to work in Dietrich's. In past experiences, I would break down the HSB model into smaller parts and do multiple imports until I successfully imported the entire model. This does not seem to work anymore. The hsb model comes as 3d drawing objects. Any thoughts on how I could import these .sat files.

I work on an i5 processor, 8G of RAM, 1Gig Radeon video card
