Hi. I have tried and tried to cut this triangle piece of wood off, with intersecting volumes, but with no success.
Can't cut off.

Sometimes it's better to make a new part, instead of keep on trying...
Yes, I also had Dicam elements, which I could not change. Some tricks may help:- play with "precision"
- do not work exactly point on point
- change coordinate system
- push processes to an other position in the process list
- try other cutting or intersection methods
- ... -
Aah yeah, precision - I remember that now. What other cutting or intersection methods are you thinking about?
-
You could use an intersection instead of a cut off,
or deviding cuts and combine the cutted parts
or lenghthen a part before cutting, to avoid point-on-point cuts
or combine a patch to a part before making an intersection
or ...Sometimes I had success with these methods, and sometimes I had not.

Finally I had succes to finish cutting all similar beams. What, to my opnion, normally works best is to work with precision and to make male objects that are temporarily bigger than they should be.
I think next time I am going to make a stair like this, I would probably like to have the stair module...
But this time I didn't have time to wait to get it, and I also think it is good practice to make a stair like this manually - before using automatic software to do it.
