The tallest wooden house in Germany is 25m / 7 storey in Berlin, it's called "E3".

I think, the russian "house" doesn't have a chance for longlife.
I read, it is already decided to break it off.
As far as I can read, the article says it is one of the highest - and (maybe) not the highest. I would like to read the article in English, is that possible? I am asking because I want to built the highest wooden house in the world, so I want to know what is today's highest. It would be very sad, if I find out too late that I should have added 2 stories more...
In Denmark there were plans to built 4 8 storey houses, and I was about to get hold on that project - but the people behind the project gave up - unfortunately... See here http://www.osterbo.dk/Files/Bi…jekter/traehus_folder.pdf
I know it is in Danish, but you can see the picture.
Hi - are there other candidates for "worlds tallest wooden building"??
I heard about a 9 storey high wooden building in London, and a company in Vienna is planning to build a 20 storey high office house, perhaps in 2010?
Absolutely interesting candidates. Here are some links to the projects: http://www.architecture.at/por…&bid=207&sound=on&lang=en and http://www.architecture.at/news.php?lang=en&sound=on and http://www.waughthistleton.com/project.php?name=murray&img=1
