I want to know how you inserting skylight (velux) in correct way.
Following the Velux instruction Window must be inserting in roof area on battens top in 8 cm farther from top line of lower tiles. But when I putting window I dont know where that batten is.
In other words window is mounting from tiles - not from finishing roof ties inside. I hope you understand me.

Excuse me, but no one knows how to do that? Interesting, do you never using skylight windows? Do you putting at first tiles and after skylight in correct way or other...

If I know, which tiles are used, I input the battens and push the Velux to the correct place.
In some cases I don't know it, then I give 10...15 cm tolerance gap. Let other people decide, where the exact Velux position shall be. :roll: -
This is a difficult decision, because Velux has rules and regulations for the installation of the skylights.
Make a sectional drawing with the window and the constrction with the roof tiles, the customer should decide, where the window has to be placed :wink:
