Can anyone help? I'm trying to use Dietrich's calculator to get the angle of a 10/12 slope. I'm trying to draw a line using the angle + horizontal.

When the dialog box angle + horizontal opens up what is the short cut to bring up the calculator?

Set the cursor on any number in the input window and press the <+>-key. The <+-*/> keys will open the calculator.
Edit the calculator line as you need it. The result will be restored to the cursor start field. -

When I enter atan(10/12) and hit enter key the box fills in 3'-3.805591 not 39.805571?

Hi Kayaker,
Currently the calculator only works for adding numbers while working in Ft/In.
If you switch your units to Inches and enter the same values you will get the correct answers.

this seems to be a program error: It seems that our calculator cannot do angle calculations when the unit is set to feet/inch. I will forward this to programming. Please use a normal calculator meanwhile.

I'm lost... my units are in feet and inches. I see Jens, just posted that this seems to be a program error. I'll use my scientific calculator for now !
