I am using DHP2000 program and it Always crashes when i click the TIMBER LIST button, does maybe anyone know why and how can i fix the problem? When i used Windows 2000 or Millenium it worked fine, but on Windows Xp it Crashes!
I am desperate!

we don't need three times the same question, so (as Co-Mod) I deleted your double posts.
I can understand, how frustrating your problem is, but I can hardly help you.
Perhaps you should downgrade to win 2000 or upgrade to Dietrich's version 7.
Idea:
Dietrich's list output uses winword with activated macros.
Old Dietrich's may not be compatible with Word XP.
You should try to install an older version of Word, and then try again.
I do not think that this is a problem with Word.
Does the program crash in the moment you start it?
Do you get any message?
Try one thing:
You can uninstall the 'Baudatenprogramm' with the function 'Software' of Windows (I do not know the names in english) and then you instal it again with the Setup.exe in the directory 'Hozlist' of the installation disk.
So it is a problem with the setup of the Baudatenprogram (it's the german word). Please try to uninstall the program ('Start - System - Software' and then uninstall 'Baudatenprogramm') and use the Setup.exe in directory 'Holzlist'.

I'm not sure, if it was already there in version 2000.
Did you install Dietrich's after upgrading to XP?
Or did you only copy the Dietrich's program directory?
My oldest Dietrich's version is from 2003, so I'm sorry, I can't send you a missing file.
I am too not realy sure if the Baudaten program was included in version 2000. :oops:
I will have a look at this in the office on monday.
It would be the best if you call the hotline on monday.

Do you have a hard disk backup containing your old Dietrich's installation?
You could compare the folders content and copy a missing file.
From where did you install the actual version?
Maybe, the 8 year old floppy disk has lost it's magnetic memory?
Ok, now I know the problem. In version 2000 there is no Baudatenprogramm but our classical timber list program. To start it with windows XP you will need a file which is attached to this post.
Please unpack it and copy the 'dhpinfo.ini' into the directory WINDAT.
Now it should work with Windows XP too.
