Hi.
The function "Insert stored image" is working very slowly. I have to wait quite long time ½-1 minute, before before I get into the dialog box, where I choose the image to insert. Is it possible to delete some of the images? Would it help?
"Insert stored image" extremely slow.

How big is your pla-file?
-
My biggest pla-file has 15 MB, and it takes about 5 seconds to load it into a plan, so 25 MB should not need one minute. (single pentium 4/3400 and 1 GB workspace)
-
When you finished your drawings, you can delete all pla-files. They have done their work, and need not to be archived. But I don't think, that they are the reason for the slowness, because they are only single loaded when needed.

Is it possible that you have a virus on your computer or perhaps the anti virus software is slowing down the computer. You could stop the anti virus software temporarily to test this.
-
I do not mean specialy the software 'antivirus' I mean any software against virus.
-
No, I don't have antivirus software on this computer...
-
Are there many hidden lines in your storage, with millions of dots or short lines?
-
If you send me the compressed 25 MB pla-file, I will check, how long my machine will load it onto the screen and into a drawing.
-
you find it in my www

It seems, that really all pla-storage-files are loaded into ram, and I think the programmers should change it!
