With my laptop hard drive just about full and 3 years old, I'm in the market for a desktop computer. I'm wondering what others would suggest:
-stick with XP or go with Vista?
-dual precessor?
-Intel or AMD?
-Graphics? Integrated?
-RAM?

Hello Peter,
take a desktop with XP and a Intel dual core processor. No integrated/onboard graphics, you need much power, I had never problems with NVidia graphics, it´s usefull, if you got enough memory for the graphic card,256mb is ok.
RAM: So much as possible (is this right in english, I´m from germany :oops: )
2048mb is powerfull enough for the beginning :wink: -
