How to make a round glulam column in wall design???

Hi Thorvald,

with Dicam full version you should be able to select the ident numbers of profiled beams in wall design, aren´t you?

I don't know, I will check tomorrow. But that is D-Cam, not wall design. Is it not possible in wall design? Because items drawn in D-Cam will not show up at timberlists, as far as I remember??

Hi Thorvald,

you need no full version of Dicam, for doing what you need:

- in building data program you can create a round beam (or any shape you like) with it's own IdentNr.
- then open wall design and use your own round beam

If this is too difficult (but it is not), create the round columns with Dicam, while the current wall MOS is active. Then they also should appear in the list.

Of course Der_Planer - that's a good idea. I have been working with the database with profiles before, so I know a little about it.

Just one little information:
Without DICAM you will not see the round contur of the beam if you use this Identnumber in wall design.
