This is the next (and maybe my last problem in this house):
Slanting rafter into horizontal timber.
-
-
This is also made with Dicam 3-8-1, the rafter is number 2.
-
Ok - it did not work exactly as I was thinking - but it's ok, that I cut the rafter at the inner side of top plates.
But can I cut away the lower part of the rafter??
-
Delete this operation and use an other:
At the end of a beam do not use 3-8-1 but 3-7-1 and set the first field on "choice". -
To help you in your own project, you can save selected elements with 1-1-6 and hang on the compressed file (*.zgb) as attachment.
-
-

-

-
At the end of a beam you can do the same with 3-7-1:
-
One step closer to finish the house - slanting rafter birth mouth connection is ok now!
