Just make a screenshot, but nobody will really be happy with that
A gif-file will be better than a jpg, because it appears sharper.
I would give them a dxf, there are freeware viewers available.
Another solution are PDF-files. You get Freeware PDF-writer and reader in the internet.
Or you use our PlanCAD-L which is a Freeware viewer for our plan files. You get it at our homepage in the download area.
Thanks
I have made some screenshots -- they are totally useless.
It is very big house and pdf drawings are allready done, but client likes only jpg file
Hi Holger,
have a look at google: "pdf2jpg". There are converters, which make high resolution images from pdf, but I didn't test them.
If you send me your pdf plans, I will convert them to jpg.
I found allready one solution( not the best, but...). I export from Dicam dxf files and print these files from auto-cad as jpg .
This house is allready done, maybe next time i must use your help.
what kind of pdf converter are you using
Holger
Hi Holger,
I use acrobat full version, which is able to save the file as jpg. The result looks professional.
GSView is a great bit of free open source software that can open PDFs and other Post-script based documents (PS, EPS, etc) and convert them to jpgs, tiffs, gifs, etc. It does it with almost no resolution loss, so, you can get some very detailed JPGs. Even opens some corrupted PDFs the Adobe can't handle.
