Sub directories in TFW

    Hi


    Would it be very difficult to enable sub directories within the TFW. As you are only allowed eight charcters to name a wall type, it would be great if you could have:-


    C:\DIETRICHS0\HRB\ENG\company1


    C:\DIETRICHS05\HRB\ENG\company2, etc etc.


    Any chance???

    There will be a chance with a new TFW editor. There we will allow more characters and sub directories too. But now, please don't ask me when this will be. One thing i can tell you: we discussed about a new TFW editor in january and this is the first step to a new editor. :grinning_squinting_face:

    Thanks for that. I hope the new TFW editor will be on or before Jan 2007, but I realise this is a major task.

    what I do is to have subdirectories in the HRB directory itself and when I need specific settings I change the path in the main menu, and get all house types, wall/ roof/ floor buildups etc.
