I guess you have only one roof outline for the upper and the lower roof.
You should make separate outlines for both roofs, so they are not forced to have common lines, and you can define an overhang for each single line.
Another possibility is to use 4-4-1 in roof design, to push the calculated roof line.
Der_Planer,
Thanks for the reply. Attached is a plan view. I used roof calculation I have separate roofs. I moved my lines to create the overhang. It appears that the competing roof overhangs are creating the problem. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Kayaker,
try what happens, when you use 3-04 and set intersection priority to 0.
If this doesn't work well, please upload your building position.
I think that the problem is from the intersection of the two roof lines.
The roof lines should not cross in this case.
You should move the line number 2 of the bigger roof line to the left to the outside of the wall. Then you enter a roof overhang on side 2 as big as you moved the line 2 before.
(I hope you understand my english.)
Der_Planer,
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the good of all concerned. 3-04 worked out set intersection priority to 0. Joachim, thank you for stepping in.
