Assigning Items to MOS

I have copied a truss into my DCam Library and then pasted it into a new position. All beams are assigned to the DCam MOS. I want to work on them in wall and can't figure out how to assign these pieces to the Wall MOS. I haven't been able to find any help documents on MOS either. I am using version 8.03.

Hello Meghan,

just a few steps:
- activate the parts in Dicam.
- select 6-4 building MOS
- set the cursor onto the wall name (it will become blue)
- elements: ADD

Now the active beams belong to the wall MOS.

Yeah, it is a nice feature. Lets say you have some ceilings that are equal or mirrored equal. Then you can copy or mirror the ceiling structure in D-Cam and then assign the new ceiling to the right ceiling number. Then the structure is available in ceiling design.
I don't know if version 8 got a ceiling macro similar to wall macro - but that would be very usefull as well.
