Hi. I need to put a steel beam in hip lines of this roof. But how to do it without "destroying" the steel beams?

perhaps something like shown in the sketch:

Hi. I don't understand how this is putting the steel beam in as a hip beam?
-
I guess, I didn't understand your picture and your problem. Could you show and describe it in another way?

Hi Thorvald,
I read your question once more and carefully, and try a new answer:
If you don't want to cut off the upper edges, you can enter the width of the steel beam as non-edged width.
As an alternative you could input a double hip rafter, the upper one as wood, and the lower one as steel. If you do not yet work with version 8, just delete the edge cuts and push the steel downwards.

All right, I understand if you did not understand completely my question first time. But the main point is that the steel beam of course have to be laying straight in the center of the hip line, with no cuts in it.
I have version 7. I tried both of your suggestions. The double hip beam work around seems to be one that could be my solution, because the lower beam seems correct, but I cannot delete the upper beam, without deleting the lower beam.
Ooooh ok, I got it. I can delete the upper beam in D-Cam. Ok, then everything is ok. I am just not sure if the hip beams are standing vertical now or are tilted a bit? When I look at the top it looks so, but in the corner it looks like the web of the steel beam is standing vertical.
