What is the best method to draw a curved log?

draw the shape in 2d with straight lines (no arcs), import to dicam and extrude

I tried using a Log (profiled beam) in extrude, but I got an error saying that you can only use beam, sheet material, molds or auxiliaries.
Are there any other alternatives?

Do you mean the item number? Try normal oak or fir...
Maybe, profiled items are not accepted for extrusions.
