Hello out there,
I want to create a hip roofed cupola in my roof.
Should I use dormer design module to create the opening in my main roof?
What would be the simplest way?

Create a new building outline and apply the slopes to all four building sides to create the hip roof cupola.

Hi Jason, that's what I've done in the interim. I want to have walls wrapping the cupola framing however. Will regular walls respect the main roof?
Would it be a matter of having a storey at the proper elevation? would those walls get cut by the main roof at whatever roof slice I specify?

There are special walls of the type 'dormer'. This type of wall is cut at the lower end and the upper end by a roof.
The external and the internal walls ar just cut by a roof at the upper end.
