    about the problem in D-CAD:


    Does the mouse pointer disappear when the program freezes? Can you exit the dialogue box with "Esc" then? Or does the mouse pointer stop and cannot be moved?

    1. the problem with dhpdat.ini is known, but we have not found the reason for this, yet. It seems to have something to do with changing the language. If you could see a regularity in it, that would help.
    We found that dhpdat.ini is not deleted, but only renamed. Just look for a "dhpdat.new" and re-name it. Then you will not loose your path settings.


    2. The problem that you report about D-CAD is not known. Does the error occur directly when you start D-CAD or is it when you have already opened a dialogue box (like "open drawing")


    P.S.: Apart from these problems here, which do not seem to be general problems that affects many customer, we at the hotline can also confirm first hand that 6.02 is the "most stable version ever".

    diese Frage kann ich (wie immer) auch erst 2-3 Tage vor der Auslieferung beantworten. Vermutlich wird die nächste Auslieferung das Update (Version 7) sein. Dieses wird allen Kunden mit gültigem Softwarepflegevertrag ausgeliefert.

    der Absturz konnte bereits nachvollzogen werden und ist in der Programmierung korrigiert worden. Das Problem wird ab der nächsten Auslieferungsversion nicht mehr auftreten.

  • Deleting processes

    generally, you should not use the "intersecting volumes" to create "joinery" because you miss very many options here that you would have if you use the "tools" in menu 3.


    Generally, you can only delete "all" intersecting volumes. The function that Sven mentioned only works for processes you have created with the tools menu.


    Attached please find page 33 of the "advanced CAD design tutorial" with a description of the intersecting volumes, including function 2-7-3

    das ist ein bekannter Programmfehler. Bitte löschen Sie die Datei "Gebaude.vor" im Verzeichnis c:\Dietrichs06\Winvor\GER. Diese Datei enthält lediglich die zuletzt verwendeten Werte aller Dialogboxen. Gespeicherte Voreinstellungen gehen dadurch nicht verloren.

  • Change color of layers in PlanCad.

    Hi Thorvald,


    there are two ways to achieve "personalized" colours in PlanCAD:


    -With the way I described above (changing the layers in the drawing template) you change only the way the lines are displayed and printed in PlanCAD
    -By changing the colour set, you change the way beams and lines are displayed in PlanCAD AND in Dicam/ DiWall/ Roof Construction etc.
