Well - just asking of curiosity - is it possible to make such twisted columns in Dietrichs... See here. Any ideas of a way it could possibly be done in Dietrichs?

Aha ok - so that would be the easiest way to transfer Dietrichs program with all settings from one computer to another??
-
What do you mean - could one just copy the whole C:\DIETRICHS07_03 directory/folder from one computer to another? What about hardlock keys - how to get that into the program - or is it included if one copies all C:\DIETRICHS07_03 folder? What do you mean about database and holzlist - why would I need setup for that? Is the database not contained in the dhpdba folder??

Hi.
One of my collegues in Lithuania needs new computer and needs to know how to install/transfer Dietrichs from old computer to new computer. I will need that soon also. I have a slight idea how I would do it - main problem for me is that I don't have installation CD for the version I have now (I got it via a internet download). Don't remember if I made a CD/DVD...
Well anyway - is it correct that if you copy the folders I have shown below to the Dietrichs installation on the new computer - then all settings, wall properties etc., material database, custom textures etc. are "safe"??
-
Yeah - that was a simple solution. Perhaps why nobody provided a solution can be that none of us have had the need to make such a roof...

-
Yeah - how did you do it? Maybe other's don't know, so share that information with us. I am not sure how I would do it - I have slight idea, but I don't know if it would work. I have no need to make such roof (so far).

Ok, so in princip I should write 2000, but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
-
- But thanks alot - now it looks normal. The last settings - distances - are they in m or mm? Everything else in my program is mm.
-
Hehehehe - yeah. But I didn't really realize that option and I may sort of have thought that it would go back to default settings when the program was closed. I didn't think the settings, I put in would be the same in all OpenGL spaces in all projects... hehehehe

Ok. But is it not possible to "translate" the NCS color code to the Ral color code (as Ral color codes are those used in Dietrichs color library) and choose the one closest if not there is a direct match???
-
- What is the default settings for light source in the OpenGL module??
-
It's a color we use quite often in our buildings, but only now I would really like to find out "what color" it is, as I am going to use at at the facade. You can see here at the MDF panels what color it is, and it seems to have NCS color code S1005-Y30R. So the question is what Dietrichs color number this translates to?
-
The name of the color is caffe latte. What color in the Dietrichs color library does that correspond to? That is my question...

Hi.
I made a model with walls with sky all the way around. When I first looked in 3D it was very dark inside the box. Then I played with light source settings and got it lighter, but now some of the colors doesn't look correct. What is the standard settings??

No one knows??

Yeah - I'd like to get the newest version of Dietrichs. The feature of being able to open other positions even other projects in other windows, could be quite useful sometimes + a lot of other things I know have come in newer versions. But the financial situation is still not the best - but the main problem is that the longer we wait the more expensive it gets to upgrade to the newest version from version 7. Upgrading from version 7 to version 10, that soon comes would cost 75% of the most expensive of our licenses (mine...) - if I am not mistaken.

Well - it almost worked, but only almost. The positions with the single modules was recovered (but the position info was deleted). The 7th position, where the modules was assembled to the house, was damaged it seemed. When I try to open that position I get the message "Program version too old. The building cannot be opened." But the other positions, I can open.
I think I will go back to the project as I recovered it before, and just start over at assembling the house.
-
Ok, I can try that. If it fails, I have today almost recovered most of the project. Because I had building library files of the positions (modules in the house) - so these positions was pretty easy to recover, by deleting the project (after copy the whole directory to another place), making new project and copying the .zbi files and use them to insert in positions. But the position where the house was assembled (40 apartments) is of course slightly more to recover. So I can make a backup copy of the project I have now and try your method to see of the whole projects recovers. If not, then it doesn't take long time to put the modules together to create the house to the status it where, when it crashed.

Hi.
I was finished working on the projectm closed it, because I needed to check a hight in another project. When I wanted to open that other project, the computer froze as it does from time to time, but not very often. Ok, I turned it off and on again - and then this error appeared, when I try to open the project I was working on. I have never seen this kind of error before. It doesn't appear with any other projects and the files in Dietrichs looks pretty much ok (I mean they doesn't seem to be deleted for example).

Hi.
Wich of the colors in the Dietrichs color database, would you say is "cafe latte"?
