The feature to take out material lists for a project is a great feature, but the function could be improved a lot. One thing is that it should be possible to output to Excel or similar programs of choice. Secondly the list should automatically assemble all wood of same type and size (47x75 and 75x47 is in the same list). Attached is an example of how the resulting list could be looking like. This is made on a small project, by copying the timberlists from drawings into excel and modifying the data. For example the number of pieces 3x, should be exported to excel as 3, so that these cells can be used to create formulas from. Perhaps Dietrichs could use excel formulas for calculations.

there is a csv export in the project data program for all material lists. The csv files can be imported in Excel.
When printing material lists you are able to merge lines. In the output dialogbox you are able to select different options to merge lines. Just try it and you will see the different results. The option which merges best is the option 'cut list'.
