What graphic card's are you using?

  • Hi Zemepan,

under Vista we can only recommend the NVIDIA Ge Force 7xxx and 8xxx series for a good performance in OpenGL.
Under XP, the above NVIDIA Graphic cards as well as the ATI Graphic cards with enough graphics memory (>128 MB) are suitable.
Please use the "NForce driver" for NVIDIA and the "catalyst driver" for ATI to avoid problems with the representation in OpenGL-mode.

    Best regards,

    Jens Krause

  • In my new PC I use SAPPHIRE HD 3650, 512MB DDR2 (1000MHz), ATI Radeon HD 3650 (725MHz) and OpenGL does not work... I must buy new card
    I use win XP

  • Hi zemepan - I am using an ATI Mobility FireGL V3200 card (128MB) with Window XP on my laptop - it works fine for most projects but does slow a little for larger designs - hope this helps

  • Hi Zemepan,

this is not the best graphics card but generally it should work under XP. Did you already try the "catalyst driver"?

    Best regards,

    Jens
