Installation problem - I think....

    I put my hardware lock for the engineering program, because I thought I would try to use it - How to make it work? Windows (found new hardware) are looking for "WIBU-BOX/RU" - does this have anything to do with this?

    Well I tried to put the Dietrich CD in order to find the file, but no. The hardlock is the USB type - if that was what you meant.


    So again how to get access to the engineering software...? :wink:

    What do you mean with the engineering program? The Dietrich's software or the Hundeborn static software?. The WIBU-BOX is the hardlock for Hundenborn and not for the Dietrich's Software. In both cases you have to install the program with the CD to get the Hardlock driver instaled too.

    The engineering program is the Hundenborn static software - the Dietrichs software is not engineering - that is drawing... :lol:


    Well never mind - I thought when I installed the software I also installed what is needed for the Hundenborn static software to run.


    If that is not the case - then how to install it without "damaging" (reinstalling) the Dietrichs installation??? Will I be able to choose between the two software - is the Hundenborn software on the same CD as the Dietrichs software??


    Is it enough to install just the hardlock driver for Hundenborn? - well of course not if the software it self is not installed.

    you had to install the hundenborn software seperatly, it´s anoher program. On the cd are the drivers for the WIBU- Key (the hundenborn cd). On the dietrichs cd is only a demonstration of the hundenborn program, you had to buy the full version :wink:

    Wait a minute - the Hundenborn software on the CD is not the full version?? My boss paid for the software - so why I did not get the full version, when we was in Neubiberg?


    And if the full version is already on the CD - the how to install only the Hundenborn software??

    good question. I have to cds, one for the engineering, one for the drawing program. Also two hardlocks/dongles, one USB for drawing, one for engineering, this ist for the serial port of your computer. Did you get two hardlocks?

    I got two USB dongles one blue for drawing program and one green for engineering calculation program.


    And I got a floppy disk (I think with the dongle software, but I am not sure), I got a CD with tutorials etc, and one CD for installation.

    I think you don't have the CD for Hundenborn. Would it be possible that someone else of your company does have this CD? If not please contact your seller. The forum cannot help in this case.

    It doesn't help much if others in my company have a CD - they are located far from me (Lithuania vs. Denmark).


    The seller - Markus Brunn?? Maybe I should write a mail to hotline?
