Windows XP Service Pack 2 - Hardlock Installation

    Problems during Installation of the current Hardlock Drivers in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or due to automatic Windows Update.


    The following solution is suggested:


    1. Open C:\ root directory in Explorer
    2. Remove the read-only attribute of the file boot.ini
    3. In boot.ini change the entry "OptIn" to "AlwaysOff"
    4. Restart your computer
    5. Install Hardlock Driver


    Meanwhile the Hardlock provider Aladin issued an update.
    HASPDINST.EXE solves the problem too.

    Ich hatte das Problem auch, aber nur auf meinem Notebook mit AMD 64 Bit Prozessor, sonst auf keinem PC, damit funktioniert es.


    I had the same problem on my amd 64 bit notebook, all other pc's works fine and this is the solution for that.
