Fire Tower Engineered Timber (www.ftet.com), a small, well-renowned firm focusing on the design and engineering of heavy timber structures throughout North America, is seeking applications for an engineering technician for our Calumet, MI office. Applicants must have familiarity with reading architectural and structural drawings and specifications, coupled with experience in both 2d drafting and 3d modeling in Autocad. Samples of work will be required to secure an interview. Experience with Sketchup, HSB, Cadwork or Dietrich’s is a bonus, but not required. Must be able to perform take-offs.
