I may have inadvertently transferred something I shouldn't have from a v8 work environment to v9.02. I can no longer open D-CAD. Is there a way to go back or must I reload v 9.02?
Work Envt data transfer mistake?

What happens if you try to open D-CAD?
(Is that the 2D program for the drawings? I do not know the english names of the moduls.) -
Nothing happens when I try to open d-cad (the 2D program). There is no error message, it just doesn't start. I've tried starting it with 1-01-1 from D-CAM and by trying to open a drawing in Project Administration.

Did it work before with version 9.02?
Or did it never work since you installed 9.02? -
It worked fine with v 9.02 until I did the Work Environment data transfer.

Peter,
Do you have another work environment that you could open?
If not, have you tried making a new work environment?
Go to 1-6-2 in DICAM, then click the settings box in the top left hand corner.
Then, make a new directory and name it "test".
Then, open in it in DICAM and try again to run DCAD.
This will at least tell you if it is a problem with your specific work environment, or if the problem is related to something with all work environments.

Thanks for the suggestion, Dan. Unfortunately I can't get DCAD to run with any of the work environments.
Peter -
Do you have this problem in all your projects or just in a single one?
Did you close the whole program and restart it?
Could you please try to start the program from project administration without opening a drawing. Please do that by selecting a normal position and then use the numbers 4-2. -
The problem is in all projects.
I have tried closing the program and restarting as well as shutting down the computer and restarting.
It won't open with 4-2 from project administration either. -
Could you please load the work environment "ENG2009" and try again?
-
I tried with "ENG2009". DCAD still won't open.
-
Now I do not have any other idea.
Please reinstall the program. You can do an update installation. -
Thanks for the suggestions. I reinstalled yesterday and all works fine so far.
