This hotline tip will take you through the steps of creating a coggin between a tie beam and plate. Also how to transfer processes (in this example notches) to another beam and how to reprocess connecting beams in order to take over the processes that were transferred. With this same example creating a wall macro in wall design and a library object in D-Cam.

With this example you can assign the curves on your braces and give them a depth. This will allow you to cut them on some CNC machines. The material that is left will have to be removed on the band saw or on the spindle molder using a multi purpose mill with copy ring. No more shop full of templates.
