It is a Dietrich's Project file. Save it to your Projects.
Open Dietrich's right click on the file and unpack within Dietrich's Project Admin. -

Is the Smart Tag not working for you? If you don't need it for cutting on a beam processor you could try to extrude the curved profile. Here is a link for one of our usermeeting on extruding beams.

Check your drilling location. Sometimes when lines from drillings are getting to close to an edge of a beam or joinery this mssages comes up. -

Yes the warranty is standart with Dell. My first Dell Precision I bought is 8 years old and still runs. Here in Canada the warranty includes next day service. They come out and fix it right away if there is a problem. I would recomment before you buy call and talk to them, they often go down with the price or add an other year of warranty or features.

It is a laptop powerful enough to replace a desktop and at the same time portable. It's performance equals a good desktop computer and it is as durable. -

First I would recommend a workstation computer or laptop they are very durable.
Second I would recommend any computer that has a NVIDIA Graphics( Nvidia Quadro )card

Several of our clients have used the Dell refurbished /outlet online store and they had good luck with it.
There you can get high end computers for a good price.

There are different ways of doing that. One way by right clicking the verge and choose replace line and add a point. Just choose a new location for the ridge point.

Copy the Winvor/ ENG folder from C/ Dietrich08 Winvor/ ENG over, that has all your settings and properties. Your database file dhpstamm.mdb you have to copy to DHPDBA folder on C drive.

It is caused by the video driver. I would recommend to update your video driver. If that does not work there are third party video drivers that support open GL. like: http://www.omegadrivers.net/omega_drivers.php -

Just change the Wall Type to Dormer Wall. A Dormer Wall is cut between two Roofs You do that in Ground Plan 3-01
In Roof Calculation go to 3-01 to select Roof Properties and select the Roof above to change at what Slice the Wall is cut. Do the same on the Roof below.
