Hello

It is possible to import model from MiTek to DICAM, but not direct. The standart model from MiTek system is *.rcp, but it is possible to export model to file *.rce, also. Now we are at home! Just use Eleco import.

I would like import of MiTek model (gang nail truss). What is corect file extesion? *.RCP does not work.

Hi Jens

Smart Tag is not a good idea. The max depth of notch must be smaller then thickness of material.
What do you think about transfering process (base on yours tutorial "Advanced CAD with Dietrich's ..." p.7 - it is possible to transfer notch (4006,3)), I can not repeat it .
My idea is to create a notch 3-8-4, modify it (the depth) and transfer throught a "ghost beam".

Hello

I would like connect new object from library (DICAM) with database information just like element in metal connector library. I create model of hinge and saved it in library. Is it possible connect a record from database with this object. Is it possible to do it myself and how?

Hi Jens
Thanks for answer.
That what you suggest is very good for drawing elements like table, description and outer frame. For mentioned element you can fix settings according yours way.
I am looking for settings for stored images of drawing. I would like set line weight: visible edges 0,3mm, hidden 0,15mm, dimension lines 0,15mm for all shop drawings. Maybe it is not question of Plan CAD but some settings in DiCAM. Now all lines have weight 0,25mm.
I created template with all necessary layers for single beam drawing and set line weight. When I put stored image into the template everything is working in current view port (lines weight adjust to settings) . When I try create single beam drawing with the template (DICAM) appear error - there is no free vieport.

I understand that I can not do everything, I am satisfied with that solution

Hi

Is it possible to set e.g. line weight in Plan CAD template and use it for preparing series drawing of single beam ( DICAM single beam drawing with template).

Where are stored timber list templates. How can I transfer it from one computer to the other?

Hello Joachim

I do not want to change font type only size. Why, because description in dialog boxes are to long (in current font size) and are illegible, even in german version.

Hello

How to change a font size in TFW (HRB editor) - system Win2000 or XP? I tied to changed settings in comand prompt (windows), but without results.

Hello Jens

No, no it is too easy. I use truss drawing. What about information like type of metal connector and so on.

Hello

I am working under truss with metal connector type perforated nail plates (similar to Mitek system). In model I can see this metal pieces but there are no perforated nail plates at 2D drawing. Is it possible to show it with description ( type, number of fixtures) at 2D drawing? In material list fixtures have no description nail, screw only number.

hello

Thank you for advise. I thought about some automatic process, but your solution is also ok.
