Yes - I think something like that. You can see on the picture that beams that are too low, have a angled cut at top and bottom.

Hehehehehe.

Actually I already tried this. But it doesn't work. But I just go an idea. Change the section to a smaller height and then try to change the section to a bigger height. To change the section to a smaller height, is possible. Then the angled cuts are deleted. But then I try to change to a bigger height - and that is not possible. I can also not use "cut off / general" to create the correct height.
Hmm. now I just tried to say change section to a bigger height and keep the top. I can see that not all items are changed.
So maybe I have to make a workaround. Delete the items, that doesn't want to change, keep one and cut it to the length of all roof. Then cut this long beams into the appropriate parts. That could work.
I just don't understand why change section does not work properly. But hey, work arounds are also fun. It takes a litte longer time, but one can't be lucky every time.

Is it really true that I cannot change / edit the height of these items? Do I have to delete them and make new?
-
Nobody have a idea, how it could be done easily to change height of roof construction?
-
Hi.
I have made the roof construction with rafters of 300 mm height. Now we have decided to change roof construction to 400 mm. I could change all rafters and slanting rafters, with change section. But I have a problem with bottom plates and closure boards. I have tried "cut-off" in different ways, change section etc. But I can't get it to work. How would you do it easily and fast?
-
Yes, I found the function and I understand it.
-
Is it possible to prevent one roof to cut into the first roof? For example to make a small roof over entrance that simply goes on top of the main roof, without changes in the main roof. Or maybe that the slices in main roof under entrance roof, down to OSB over rafters are cut away, but the rest stays.

I don't see why it should be a strange combination. But it doesn't work, if I just change "list storage" to yes. If I change the material to beam, I get a number on a new item I insert in the wall (but not on the old items) - but I still do not get a timber list to insert on the drawing. And that I don't understand.
-
So if I make new materials, that are auxiliaries and I change "list storage" to "yes" - then it will be inserted in timber list?
If I change the setting now - for this material - will it affect the present project and make it possible to insert material lists?
-
Hi.
Are there certain object types that does not create a timber list? For example if object type is auxiliary, there won't be a timber list to insert in drawing?
-
Huh? Sorry I didn't really understand what you said there. But it sounds like it has something to do with something I don't use. I was just curious, that's only why I asked.

Ok, but what is molds used for?
I am now finished to go through the material database (took a few days) and correct the different materials (mostly my own of course). Most of the materials I have changed to "beam" and weight reference to kg/m3. It is easier to use kg/m3 than to have to calculate kg/m, each time you make a new material / profile.
-
What are "Materials for molds" and why they don't have a weight reference?

I use your position to see what element it is....
Oh - I can't do that, I have to see it in the original position...
Ok I see what kind of element it is. But there is another thing (also in position 20) - a door hole in the small stair tower that has not been fully cut. I actually thought that this caused the problem.Ok I might have to learn to understand the "table reading".
-
This doesn't activate it, so I can see it in OpenGL??

This doesn't tell me anything. I never use this view...
What element is it (wall, ceiling, number)? -

Hehehehehe - I have never heard about such a poetic repair.... Oh my ...  You are the best...
Do you remember where the bad cut was?
-
Hi Der_Planer. Yes, you are right! You are the master, hehehehe. What did you do to repair it??
